Don Heathfield

Don Heathfield is the inventor of the Future Map concept and the CEO of the company.

Don has extensive global experience in the areas of organizational learning, strategy, scenario thinking, global business development and executive education. He has worked with business executives in over 20 countries. During his consulting career he worked with major corporations such as General Electric, AREVA, Boston Scientific, Ericsson, Motorola, Microsoft, Michelin, Philips, STMicroelectronics, SAP, T-Mobile, and United Technologies.

As an advisor to major corporations, he focuses on building the capacity of organizations to develop and implement future strategies and on the creation of tools that enable this process.

Don holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government. He also received Advanced Executive Training from the London School of Economics, a master degree from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees in Paris, and an BA in International Economics. Don is a Professional Member of the World Future Society.

 

Jephraim Gundzik

Jephraim P. Gundzik is the project leader for the project “The Future of China”. Jeph was previously founder and president of Condor Advisers, Inc., which provided investment risk analysis to institutional investors globally.  Condor's clients included the world's largest multinational corporations, mutual funds and hedge funds.  Mr. Gundzik’s research correctly forecast such cataclysmic events as the devaluations of the Thai Baht and Korean Won in 1997, Russia's default and devaluation in 1998, Brazil's devaluation in 1999 and Argentina's default and devaluation in 2002.  More recently, Mr. Gundzik’s research has foreseen the generational change in global geopolitical risk that has, among other things, driven commodity prices to record highs. Mr. Gundzik has written articles on investment risk for many publications and is a regular contributor to Asia Times.
